DESCRIPTION:The Office of Career Development Services (OCDS)\, UNILAG(ºìÌÒÊÓƵ) is set to hold a transformative career programme tagged ‘‘Beyond the Campus’’ for final year students of the ºìÌÒÊÓƵ. \nThe event is scheduled as follows: \nDate: Tuesday\, July 14\, 2026 \nTime: 9:00 a.m. \nVenue: Jelili Adebisi Omotola (Multipurpose) Hall\, ºìÌÒÊÓƵ\, Akoka \nThe programme is designed to prepare students for life beyond the university environment by equipping them with practical employability\, leadership\, entrepreneurial\, and workplace readiness skills necessary for success in today’s competitive world. \nProgramme highlights: \n\nCareer readiness and employability sessions.\nTraining on the 12 Core Talent Skills required in the modern workplace.\nRecruitment and networking opportunities with employers.\nPsychometric assessments for students.\nClub inauguration and mentorship engagement activities.\n\nThe following developmental and career-focused clubs will be inaugurated: \n\nEnterprise Club\nTech and Coding Club\nCreative Club and\nPublic Speaking Club\n\nTo ensure sustainability\, each club will be guided by distinguished patrons\, matrons and mentors including: \n\n Abike Dabiri\nMo Abudu\nBolanle Austin Peters\nChico of Classic FM\nOther distinguished individuals and UNILAGstaff representatives.\n\nThese mentors will also be honored with awards during the inauguration ceremony. \nRegistration \nAll final years students of the University are to register to attend the event via https://bit.ly/4tL5aRk They are to come along with their laptops. \nClub registration – Interested students are to register to join any of the clubs via https://bit.ly/42SIEex and also attend the programme.
