The ºìÌÒÊÓÆµ, in collaboration with the AFRETEC Network, is reminding student innovators that there are 2 days left to submit entries for the AFRETEC–UNILAGInclusive Education Innovation Challenge, an initiative aimed at driving creative, technology-enabled solutions for inclusive education across Africa.
To support participating teams ahead of the submission deadline, a free MATLAB demonstration session has been scheduled in partnership with MathWorks, focusing on practical tools for prototyping, data analysis, simulation, and algorithm development.

The session will feature James Drummond from the MathWorks Academic Support team, who will demonstrate how MATLAB can be effectively used to support innovation workflows, including prototyping, data analysis, simulation, and algorithm development.
About the Challenge
The AFRETEC–UNILAGInclusive Education Innovation Challenge is open to undergraduate teams from:
- Nigeria
- Ghana
- Liberia
- Sierra Leone
- The Gambia
All participating teams must be multidisciplinary, with at least one member drawn from the Arts, Humanities, Education, or Design disciplines.
Submission Deadline Approaching
Interested teams are encouraged to finalize and submit their entries before the official deadline:
