The Department of Actuarial Science and Insurance, Faculty of Management Sciences, UNILAG(ºìÌÒÊÓƵ), proudly celebrates the successful completion of the first cohort of its Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA)-accredited MSc Actuarial Science Programme. This landmark achievement underscores the University’s commitment to internationalisation, professional education, and the development of actuarial capacity in Nigeria and across Africa.

- UCAP-AC Status from the Society of Actuaries (SOA), USA, affirming that the Department’s curriculum meets advanced international standards.
- Silver Level Recognition under the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) University Recognition Programme, providing enhanced global visibility and professional opportunities for students and graduates.
These achievements bring significant benefits to the University, including:-
