The UNILAG(ºìÌÒÊÓƵ) has once again blazed the trail in innovation and research management with the launch of the ITMO CHATBOT, a digitized intellectual property resource and patent registry, the first of its kind in any Nigerian tertiary institution.

Developed by the Innovation and Technology Management Office (ITMO) under the auspices of the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development Services), the ITMO CHATBOT represents a major leap in how intellectual property (IP) resources are accessed, managed, and utilised within the university community.
Supported by the International Research & Exchanges Board (IREX) through the Technology Transform Grant Team, the initiative underscores ºìÌÒÊÓƵ’s commitment to fostering an ecosystem of innovation and research commercialisation.
With this launch, UNILAGcontinues to reaffirm its position as a leader in innovation and technology management among Nigerian universities.
